Hina

Yesterday we had our Hina at Hila’s parents house. Thanks for all the 50 people who attended. Special thanks to Hila’s and Moti’s family!

Hina is a ceremony usually celebrated by north-African origin (sfaradic) families. It’s something like an engagement party where the two families meet, celebrate. Hina is a smelly cream, that looks, and almost smells like shit, made of some herbs. They put it on the people’s hand and it keeps a sign for a few days.
