House in Gan Yavne
2009. August 4. 22:40
Today we signed a contract to buy a house in Gan Yavne.
We were looking for a house for a long time. Actually we already started to search after the wedding, but every time we started, we got sick after seeing the prices. So we looked for a month, then had a break for half a year, etc.

2009. June 24. 00:22Today I’ve been to a ceremony and aerobatics show that was held for the apropos of finishing the 2009 pilot course. Here’s one of the non top-secret videos.
Since today is Jazmin’s birthday, I hearby wish her a happy birthday with this film dedicated to her.

Vizibaleset
2009. March 31. 21:00
(more…)
Alma Sleeps

Don’t wake up the sleeping baby!
Alma having a bath
2009. March 26. 13:20
This is how I have bath. We still have to get used how to do it, but at least I like water and don’t cry.
Dad also opened a playlist in youtube for me, you can see more videos there. He’ll update it once in a while.
Alma Fleischer
2009. March 22. 12:36
Since my last post we’ve been at home, and on the weekend we went to Bat Yam to grandpa and grandma. All the family was there (uncles, cousines).
On Saturday morning dad wasn’t home when I woke up. Mom took me with the girls to the Synagouge. Dad was there on the other side of the fence. When he was called up to the tora everybody sang “Siman tov u’mazal tov” for us. After the reading he told everyone my name:
Alma
After the prayer we invited everyone to a kidush downstairs.
Dad explained what does my name mean:
- עלמה is a young girl in Hebrew
- עלמא is world in Aramic
- Alma is apple
in Hungarian - Alma is soul in Spanish and Portuguese
- Alma is nourishing in Latin (see: Alma Mater)
Eight days a week
2009. March 17. 18:06
My first week is over. It was a long-long week!
- I was born.
- I was measured, I was washed, I was checked by the doctor. I got injections.
- I was taken home.
- I vomited once.
- I was at the doctor.
- I was at the hospital.
- They took blood of my angle.
- I was at grandma and grandpa’s house.
- I was blessed by dad on shabat.
If I was a boy
I would’ve my brit mila today, and then you would already know my name. But we’re exploiting the advantages of being a girl
, so mom and dad take another few days, as they say, for “beta testing” my new name until Saturday. You’ll get noticed at Saturday night. Countdown: 4 days…
Today in the morning dad brought a huge pot, full of warm water into our room. First I thought we’re going to cook, but then I was dressed down, and dad dropped me into the pot. Are my parents cannibals?
Hmmm…
it’s not that bad! Reminds me mom’s belly. Dad was very proud of me because I wasn’t crying at all.
It’s been a hard day’s night
2009. March 16. 18:04
A couple of days passed since last time I wrote. Here is an update about the things that happened since:
The 1st night at home was hard for all of us. Mom was very tired, she slept as much as she could, but I didn’t give her much time. Dad woke up to every movement / sound I made. I didn’t want to bother him, so I stayed silent. Then he JUMPED up, over mom, to see what happened to me. I think he doesn’t sleep well. Every sound / silence wakes him up. I don’t know what to do… (more…)
